Halloween 2018

October Filmmakers, Colors, Blues, and Brews

November 8, 2018

Fall dazzled us at Sleder’s this year with fun customers, filmmakers, brilliant fall colors, seasonal drinks and brews, and a fantastic blues concert. Here are some photo highlights!

Roadfood Adventures Filming October 12

We had a full house for the filming!  Thank you to everyone who joined us on October 12.  Roadfood’s visit to Sleder’s will be shared at Roadfood.com sometime in January and will be a segment of the Roadfood Adventures documentary series later in the year.  Until then, we got a few snaps of the filming here:

Color-Tours and Game Day, October 20

The fall colors eased in slowly after a warm end to summer, but once they arrived, wow!  What a perfect setting to enjoy our beautiful neighborhood and a Carmel Apple Cider at Sleder’s on game day!

First Snow, October 21

Would October be October in Michigan if it didn’t snow ?  It was just the cold snap we needed to turn the rest of the green leaves gold.

Dave Arcari Concert on the Porch, October 22

Scottish alternative blues songwriter and guitarist, Dave Arcari, loved Traverse City so much, he stuck around a few days after his show and made plans to return to Sleder’s next year.  Thanks to everyone who came to the concert and to WNMC 90.7FM and Connemara Concerts for sponsoring another performance “On the Porch.” Arcari is a masterful blues guitarist. Sleder’s is looking forward to another Arcari blues concert in 2019!

Happy Halloween from Randolph, October 31!

Randolph and friends donned their masks again for Halloween.  Check out the photo gallery below.

Halloween 2018

This was another October to remember at the oldest continuously operated restaurant in all of Michigan, and we’re grateful. Thanks to everyone who came out and smooched the moose.

New Sunday Hours for Winter

We’ve now set our clocks back to Standard Time and changed our Sunday hours to close at 9:00 pm instead of 10.  Now that it’s November, and we’ve woken to snow on the ground, we’re ready for what winter brings!  See you soon at Sleder’s!
