Detroit Red Wings fans: This TC Film Festival event is for you! Sleder’s is hosting the post-viewing reception of the Detroit Red Wings documentary, The Russian Five, featuring the hockey players from the team that won the Stanley Cup in 1997. The film is showing at The Kubrick at Central Grade School at 6:00 pm on Friday as part of the Traverse City Film Festival, and the reception begins at 8:00 pm at Sleder’s. Admission to the reception is free, and there will be a cash bar. Come and meet author/producer Keith Gave who will be signing books. Also making an appearance will be Red Wings greats, Darren McCarty and Dallas Drake!
