Some fun news!
Sleder’s is to be featured in Roadfood Adventures, a new documentary series, and you could be in the episode! Filming (featuring food and interviews) will take place at the tavern at 717 Randolph Street in Traverse City on Friday, October 12 from 11:10 am until about 12:30.
If YOU are a Sleder’s regular or have a Sleder’s or Traverse City story or if you’re just hungry, here’s your chance at 15 minutes of fame! Come in on Friday for lunch; we open at 11:00 am. Filming will begin shortly thereafter.
Roadfood Adventures, filmed by Fexy Studios, is based on the Roadfood books written by 3 times James Beard award-winning authors Jane and Michael Stern and the website roadfood.com. Maybe you’ve heard Jane and Michael on NPR’s The Splendid Table! Sleder’s will be in the Season 1 episode featuring upstate Michigan from Beulah to Mackinac Island. The show will be aired on all of BrandUSA / GoUSA’s channel platforms.
