  1. I know this is more of a music question, but I am asking it in horses in the hopes that one of you have run across the TAB/Chords for it.

The only version I've heard is by Joel Mabus, and it is supposedly based off an old cowboy song. I want to learn how to play it!

The song is about death, I cry like a little poo every time I hear it.

    Here's an excerpt:

    Watch him Ride away easy
    Ride away slow
    The trail may be lonely
    But he and his pony
    Are ready to go
    Ride away easy
    Ride away slow
    No need for grieving
    It's time to be leaving
    And he's ready to go

When my time comes to die
Pull my saddle from the wall
    Hitch up my pony
Lead him out of his stall
Tie my bones to his back
Turn our faces to the west
    And we'll ride the prairie
    That we love the best

If any cowboy folk lovers out there can help me out, I'd be much obliged. ;)
